Yoga and Meditation

Yoga, beyond the Asanas, is a lifestyle that helps us achieve physical and mental well-beinga true art of right living. It draws on thousands of years of tradition and research, with hundreds of books written about it and countless ways to practice it

I’m Emma, and I teach Yoga in Salò, where I bring a deep, authentic approach to the mat that honors the Indian roots of this practice. Our classes are accessible and balanced to suit your energy and the rhythm of the seasons, allowing Yoga to adapt to you and your unique journey.

The tools I share — Yoga, Meditation, Somatic Intuition and Somatic Release, breathing techniques, and Ayurvedic wisdom — have been fundamental in helping me find physical and mental balance. Ayurveda, in particular, bridges body, mind, and soul, providing a holistic approach to nurturing well-being.

Regular Yoga practice strengthens physical, mental, and spiritual capacities, awakening your potential and fortifying the body.

Classes explore asanas (poses) in all their forms: dynamic movements for strength and flexibility, and mindful breathing to enhance balance and inner awareness. Energetic movements promote strength, flexibility, and agility, preparing you to face challenges both on and off the mat. The focus on breathing and mindful presence also helps you develop balance and stability during twists, bends, and isometric holds, while building symmetry and resilience in the muscles.

The careful attention to asanas and posture helps to balance tensions along the entire spine, relieving discomfort in the back and neck areas.

The positive effects of yoga extend beyond the physical level: the deep relaxation and inner calm fostered by the practice effectively help combat psychosomatic conditions, such as migraines, constipation, gastritis, insomnia, and menstrual irregularities.

Cyclical Awareness

We practice in harmony with the seasons, structuring lessons to honor both the nature within us and the nature around us. We are open ecosystems, in continuous interaction with a vast Cyclical Matrix—the changing of the seasons, circadian rhythms, the movements of the Moon, Earth, and planets, the rhythm of breath, the cycle of birth and death, and for women, the phases of the menstrual cycle. Drop-in classes for tourists, year long classes for those who live here, seasonal events and masterclasses.

For in-studio sessions: Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive directions to the studio located in Salò, on Lake Garda.

For the Online sessions: Live lessons on Zoom (Smartphone or PC) or WhatsApp (Smartphone or PC), depending on your preferences, allow me to guide and correct you effectively.

Mat, comfortable clothing preferably made of natural materials, water bottle, blanket, and depending on the season, sunscreen or a natural insect repellent spray if we’re outdoors.

Bookings can be made via whatsapp, telephone or email. Once your appointment is scheduled, changes to the time or date can only be made for serious reasons and/or documented health issues, with a minimum notice of 24 hours before the scheduled time. Sessions can be rescheduled within the same month. Cancellations made after this period cannot be rescheduled.

Calma and Presence

Structure of the Journey

Rediscover Calm and Presence with Meditation (Dhyana), the art of knowing oneself, your mind, your breath, your emotions, and your thoughts. In addition to self-awareness, meditation also helps us fully experience the present moment, something that rarely happens in everyday life. Through the practice of meditation, we become aware that the mind is constantly between the past and the future, and we train ourselves to bring it back to the present. here and now …every time we become aware that the mind is no longer in the present. This journey is suitable both for beginners and for those who have been practicing for a while, as they will find numerous tips, reflections, and techniques to improve their meditation practice.

Details

After the introductory call, based on your needs, we will choose the most suitable path for you at this moment: we will discuss the basic principles of meditation, the positions to adopt, the obstacles you may encounter and how to overcome them, meditation techniques, how to make your practice more effective, how to cope with stress, formal meditation, and informal meditation.

We will experiment with Yoga techniques to relax and prepare the body for meditation, breathing techniques (Pranayama), Mudras, Mantras, and Yantras.

Advised duration: 4 sessions, 1 month of consistent practice to develop willpower and concentration (Dharana). Recordings of the practices will be provided for repetition and experimentation. I recommend continuing to deepen this inner journey—consistency and patience are the only way to identify the characteristics and uniqueness of your own path. By the end of the course, you will have all the tools to continue on your own, or you can continue with the Group Meditation Course, where we will meditate together twice a week for about 30 minutes. The practices will change based on the rhythms of the seasons, lunar cycles, and the movements of the Earth and the Planets.

For in-studio sessions: Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive directions to the studio located in Salò, on Lake Garda.

Retreat Option: If you live far away and prefer to practice in person, in Salò on Lake Garda, it will be possible to schedule a theoretical and practical Meditation workshop of about 4 hours, based on your needs.

For the Online sessions: Live lessons on Zoom (Smartphone or PC) or WhatsApp (Smartphone or PC), depending on your preferences, allow me to guide and correct you effectively.

A quiet space, where for about an hour you can dedicate time to yourself. A chair, comfortable and soft clothing, a blanket and cushion, and if you like, you can light a candle and some incense—this is your moment. A post-practice herbal tea is also recommended; it’s your personal wellness retreat.

You will need a good internet connection, and we will meet on Zoom/WhatsApp.

To be defined based on needs and availability, it is recommended to maintain a fixed appointment, as it provides the benefits of consistency and grounding practice.

Important: Please note that the first session will last a bit longer than an hour, as it is a wellness retreat and we will have a lot to share together!
